The thermally efficient Hi-therm+ Lintel from Keystone has been announced as a winner at the Irish Construction Excellence Awards. Keystone’s Hi-therm+ Lintel was crowned the winner of the Construction Product Innovation Category at the prestigious award ceremony which took place in the Mansion House Dublin on Friday 29th March.
Established by Irish Building Magazine, the Irish Construction Excellence Awards are the original and premier recognition of performance and excellence for the contracting sector in Ireland.
The award winning Hi-therm+ Lintel provides the low cost solution for reduced carbon emissions. Up to 5 times more thermally efficient that a standard steel lintel, the Hi-therm+ Lintel is an innovative solution to reducing thermal bridging and improving SAP calculations.
This latest win comes off the back of a hugely successful year for the Hi-therm+ Lintel having also been named Construction Product of the Year at the Irish Construction Industry Awards and Best Building Fabric Product at the Housebuilder Product Awards.
Kris Willis, Regional Sales Director commented “At the Keystone Group, we are continuously investing in research and design to ensure we are at the forefront of innovation within the construction industry. We are delighted this has been recognised with another prestigious accolade- an Irish Construction Excellence Award. The Hi-therm+ Lintel has enjoyed great success in the Irish construction industry, it offers builders a solution which is faster and easier to install compared to a two part lintel while also providing a low cost route to improve both CO2 reduction and Fabric Energy Efficiency.”
