Whitestacks is a striking contemporary coastal residence in Killiney where bespoke structural engineering enabled expansive glazing, exposed concrete architecture, and uninterrupted sea views.
The bold contemporary residence overlooking the Dublin coastline, inspired by the form of the traditional Irish tower house and reimagined for modern living. Positioned on Killiney Hill, the home is designed to maximise panoramic sea views while responding sensitively to its elevated and exposed setting.

Keystone supplied Box K 200 Feature Lintels, SLK Lintels, and bespoke high-performance steel lintels to deliver concealed structural support for the home's large architectural openings.
Large openings and expansive glazing play a key role in connecting the interior to the surrounding landscape, flooding the home with natural light and framing views across the coast.
Keystone Lintels provided structural lintel solutions designed to support the home’s large openings and minimalist aesthetic. The scope included:
- High-performance steel lintels for wide-span glazing and openings
- Bespoke lintels tailored to integrate with exposed concrete elements
- Structural solutions designed to maintain clean architectural lines
Working closely with the design and engineering teams, Keystone ensured that all lintels complemented the project’s material-led approach while delivering robust structural performance.

With concrete left exposed throughout the building, structural elements needed to align precisely with the architectural intent. Keystone’s Box K 200 feature lintels and SLK lintels were carefully detailed to integrate seamlessly with the concrete structure, maintaining a clean and cohesive finish.
