On Thursday 8th May 2014 Keystone employees showed up in their droves for a bake sale and coffee morning in support of the Special Olympics Ireland. Staff kindly spent the week baking for the morning and others generously purchased donations for the event.

As an added bonus, we were lucky enough to be joined by a local Special Olympics athlete, Patrick Donnelly (pictured right with Mareanne Bradley, Patsi Doey and Nicola McKeever from Keystone), along with his mother Catherine.

Patrick is an athlete in the Dungannon Special Olympics Club (swimming) and Birdies Special Olympics Club (Golf) and brought along his medals on the day. Patrick represented Ireland in the World Games in Greece, where he won a Gold Medal in Golf and he is representing Ulster this June in the Ireland Limerick Games, where he will be competing in the swimming event.

We are delighted to announce that we raised a staggering £489.93 (in under 50 minutes!) for the Special Olympics on the day and would like to thank everyone involved. Community involvement and fundraising are central to the values of Keystone, especially activities concerning such worthy causes. We look forward to working with the Special Olympics again in the future.
